The approach

How we report

BiasList was built around a simple idea: the story matters more than the noise around it. We prioritize verification, transparent sourcing, useful context and editorial judgment over clickbait, rumor amplification or publishing for volume alone.

Our reporting distinguishes between straight news, analysis, opinion and other editorial formats so readers can understand what kind of piece they are reading. Sources used to verify reporting are shown transparently when attached to a story, and substantive post-publication changes are reflected through our corrections and update practices.

If we cannot responsibly source a claim, we do not file it.
