The 2026 MAMA Awards have revealed a new slate of special performances, bringing together veteran musicians, rising K-pop artists, and collaborations with major film and animation properties.
The announcements were made during a media event in Seoul on October 29, ahead of the ceremony’s November 20–21 return to Kyocera Dome Osaka in Japan.
Panic Leads a Cross-Generational Collaboration
Veteran Korean duo Panic, consisting of Lee Juck and Kim Jin-pyo, will join younger artists for a special collaborative performance.
The newly announced participants include CORTIS members Martin and Seonghyeon, WOODZ, ZEROBASEONE’s Kim Tae Rae, ALLDAY PROJECT’s Woochan, and Hearts2Hearts’ Yuha.
The performance is intended to connect different generations of Korean popular music, with Panic bringing its longstanding musical legacy to a stage shared with contemporary K-pop performers.
Organizers have not yet announced the specific songs or the detailed staging arrangements.
ENHYPEN and BIGBANG Prepare Unexpected Stages
ENHYPEN will present a special collaboration with the upcoming film Dune: Part Three.
The performance will bring elements of the film’s universe into the awards ceremony, although the exact musical arrangement and production details remain undisclosed.
BIGBANG is also preparing an unusual crossover with Dooly the Little Dinosaur, the long-running Korean animated property.
Mnet described the collaboration as an opportunity to connect different generations of audiences. Further details about the group’s planned performance have not been revealed.
Both stages form part of the ceremony’s wider MUSIC INTERSTELLAR concept, which emphasizes connections across musical genres, generations, and creative worlds.
Park Bo-gum Returns With an Expanded Role
Actor Park Bo-gum will return as host for the eighth time and has been appointed the first official MAMA Awards Ambassador.
Rather than serving only as a ceremony host, Park will help connect the two nights through the event’s overarching story and musical theme.
The November 20 and 21 ceremonies will be staged at Kyocera Dome Osaka, with additional programming through Mnet Plus.
The special-stage announcement represents a significant expansion of the event’s previously confirmed performer lineup, offering a clearer picture of the collaborations audiences can expect when the 2026 MAMA Awards begin.
