A2O Details 4DGS Music-Video Production and New BloomingTalk Video Features

A2O Entertainment is putting new production and fan-communication technology at the center of its latest K-pop push.
During A2O’s October 12 debut event for A2O SOUL and A2O LITE at KINTEX in Goyang, key producer Lee Soo-man presented the company’s use of 4D Gaussian Splatting, or 4DGS, as part of its music-video production process.
The method uses multiple cameras to capture a performance from different perspectives before combining the resulting data to reconstruct the artist and surrounding space in three dimensions. According to Lee, the approach allows a recorded performance to later be viewed from different positions and angles rather than being limited to the viewpoints originally selected for a conventional video.
A2O applied the filming method to music videos for A2O SOUL and A2O LITE that were shown at the event. The company has not independently demonstrated the broader viewer-facing capabilities described during the presentation, so those remain A2O’s stated vision for how the captured material can be used.
Lee also outlined an expansion of BloomingTalk, a fan-communication platform that predates the October event.
BloomingTalk was first announced in July 2025 as a platform combining direct artist communication with AI-powered chat and voice features. A2O artists were among the acts announced for the service at the time.
The new plans presented October 12 include face-to-face video conversations targeted for late October, as well as a future interactive live format where celebrities and multiple fans could watch, listen and participate in a shared conversation in real time.
That distinction is important: A2O did not unveil BloomingTalk itself for the first time this week. Instead, the company is proposing a broader set of live and video-based features for an existing platform while also introducing new production techniques around its latest artists.
Together, the announcements offer a clearer look at how A2O intends to combine music production, spatial capture technology and artist-fan communication as part of its entertainment strategy.
