BTS’s ‘SWIM’ Nominated for Best Music Video at 2026 Camerimage Film Festival

BTS has earned a nomination at the 2026 ToruńCAMERIMAGE International Film Festival in Poland, with the music video for “SWIM” selected for its Best Music Video competition.

The festival announced its shortlist on October 19, selecting 18 finalists from approximately 300 submissions and recommendations received worldwide.

“SWIM,” the title track from BTS’s fifth studio album ARIRANG, is the only K-pop entry among the finalists. It joins music videos by international artists including Ariana Grande, Madonna, Harry Styles, Sabrina Carpenter and Rosalía.

According to the festival’s official listing, the video was directed by Tanu Muiño, with cinematography by Nikita Kuzmenko. UnderWonder Content is credited as the production company.

Established in 1993, Camerimage is an international film festival dedicated to cinematography and the visual craft of filmmaking.

Unlike conventional music-awards ceremonies, its Music Videos Competition specifically recognizes cinematography. The Golden Frog for Best Music Video is presented to the winning cinematographer, while the director receives a corresponding Special Mention.

The nomination therefore places “SWIM” within an international filmmaking competition, recognizing the production’s visual work beyond its musical release.

The 34th ToruńCAMERIMAGE festival will take place in Poland from November 7–14. The nominated videos will receive a special screening for the international jury and festival audience.

Winners will be announced during the closing ceremony on November 14.

BTS and the video’s creative team remain nominees; no award result has been announced.
