ITZY’s Chaeryeong is preparing to step out on her own.

JYP Entertainment confirmed on August 27 that Chaeryeong is preparing her first solo album, with the company targeting a November release.

The confirmation followed an initial report from JTBC Entertainment News, which also reported that preparations are underway ahead of filming for the project’s music video.

The release will make Chaeryeong the third ITZY member to officially debut as a solo artist. Yeji opened the group’s solo run with “AIR” in March 2025, while Yuna followed with “Ice Cream” in March 2026.

Chaeryeong’s debut will arrive roughly seven years and nine months after ITZY’s 2019 debut, adding another individual project to the group’s ongoing activities.

For now, JYP has not announced an exact release date, album title, tracklist or concept for the project. Those details are expected to become clearer once the official rollout begins.
