Hearts2Hearts has opened its Japanese debut with a No. 2 finish on Oricon’s weekly singles chart, as first Japanese single ICONIC HEART sold 50,000 copies in its opening week.

The result comes from the chart dated Aug. 24, covering sales from Aug. 10 through Aug. 16. ICONIC HEART was released Aug. 12.

According to Oricon-based reporting, the 50,000-copy opening also marks the highest first-week sales this year for a first single by a female artist debuting in Japan under the chart’s stated eligibility criteria.

The release formally launched Hearts2Hearts’ Japanese activities after the group debuted in Korea in February 2025. ICONIC HEART contains three tracks, including a Japanese version of “RUDE!,” and was issued across six physical configurations.

The Japanese debut follows Hearts2Hearts’ second Korean mini album, Lemon Tang, released in June. The eight-member group entered its second year with an expanding schedule across both Korea and Japan.
