Jackson Wang Signs With Roc Nation for Global Music Management

Jackson Wang has signed with Roc Nation for music management, marking a new step in the artist’s expanding global solo career.

The partnership was announced on September 21 alongside the release of Jackson’s new single, “Thank You.” Roc Nation will now work with Jackson on the management side of his music career as he continues operating across international markets.

Jackson has spent years building an independent ecosystem around his solo work through TEAM WANG records, alongside a career spanning music, touring, fashion and creative direction. The Roc Nation agreement adds a major U.S.-based management company to that structure rather than replacing the artist-led identity he has developed around TEAM WANG.

The timing also comes during an active period for Jackson internationally. His third studio album, MAGIC MAN 2, reached No. 13 on the Billboard 200, while its accompanying world tour has taken him through North America and Latin America ahead of upcoming dates in mainland China.

“Thank You” serves as the first release accompanying the new chapter. Jackson co-directed its black-and-white music video with Ojun Kwon, with 30 fans selected from applications submitted across more than 80 countries appearing in the visual.

Rather than simply functioning as another release announcement, the Roc Nation deal represents a notable change in the infrastructure surrounding Jackson’s solo career as he continues expanding beyond the markets where he first established himself.
