Kim Jaejoong’s agency, iNKODE Entertainment, has apologized for continuing ticket-refund delays following the cancellation of his fan meeting in Chengdu, China, and says legal action is underway over the matter.

The event, titled 2026 KIM JAE JOONG FANMEETING in CHENGDU, was originally scheduled for October 3 but did not take place.

On October 28, more than three weeks after the cancellation, iNKODE issued a new statement acknowledging that refunds and compensation for affected fans had not proceeded smoothly.

The agency said it recognized the frustration and uncertainty facing fans who had spent money and made arrangements to attend the event.

According to iNKODE, the company considers the local organizer’s refund delays and failure to fulfill related obligations a serious matter.

It said it was taking legal measures to protect the artist’s interests and minimize the financial harm experienced by fans.

The agency added that it could not disclose detailed information while legal procedures were underway, but emphasized that this would not excuse delays in responding to affected customers.

The October 28 statement represents a development beyond iNKODE’s initial October 5 response, when the company said it was communicating with the organizer and discussing possible solutions, including ticket refunds.

The agency has not publicly identified a specific court filing, disclosed a case number or confirmed a judgment against the organizer. No completed refund schedule was established in the latest reporting.

iNKODE said it would continue monitoring the situation and pursuing a resolution, while apologizing again to fans who have been waiting for reimbursement.

The immediate question for affected ticket holders remains when refunds will be processed and whether the dispute with the local organizer will produce a concrete payment arrangement.
