K/DA is heading back to the League of Legends World Championship stage.

Riot Games confirmed on October 21 that the virtual K-pop group will participate in the Worlds 2026 Opening Ceremony alongside fellow virtual music collective True Damage.

The ceremony will take place at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, on November 14, beginning at 2 p.m. Eastern Time (11 a.m. Pacific). It will also be streamed through the official LoL Esports platform.

The announcement establishes K/DA’s first confirmed major international performance commitment following its recent musical return.

After six years without new music, the group released “FIRESTARTER” on October 19, introducing a new chapter for the virtual quartet of Ahri, Akali, Evelynn and Kai’Sa.

K/DA’s return features i-dle members Soyeon and Miyeon alongside Sophie Powers and Mimi Webb as the project’s current recording voices.

True Damage’s participation at Worlds had already been confirmed by Riot on September 29, when the company announced that the group would perform the tournament’s official anthem, “Know My Name.”

The October 21 development therefore adds K/DA to an existing opening-ceremony programme rather than announcing both acts for the first time.

The upcoming appearance also marks a return to the championship stage where K/DA first attracted international attention with its 2018 debut performance of “POP/STARS.”

While the two virtual groups are now confirmed for November 14, Riot has not announced K/DA’s performance setlist or identified which real-world vocalists and dancers will physically appear onstage.

Soyeon and Miyeon’s involvement in K/DA’s recorded music should not be interpreted as confirmation of their personal attendance at the ceremony.

Further performance details are expected through Riot Games and the official League of Legends esports channels.
