Reported against primary sources.

K/DA is back with its first new music in approximately six years.

Riot Games released “FIRESTARTER” and its accompanying animated music video on October 19 KST, marking the virtual group’s first musical release since its 2020 EP ALL OUT.

The new single reunites K/DA with Miyeon and Soyeon of i-dle, who reprise their roles as the singing voices of League of Legends characters Ahri and Akali, respectively.

They are joined by two new featured vocalists: Canadian singer Sophie Powers as Evelynn and British singer Mimi Webb as Kai’Sa.

The music video was created in collaboration with French animation studio Fortiche, known for Netflix’s Arcane and K/DA’s original 2018 “POP/STARS” video. Sean Bankhead contributed the choreography.

K/DA first debuted in 2018 as a virtual pop project connecting Riot Games’ League of Legends universe with real-world recording artists. The group subsequently released “THE BADDEST” and “MORE” in 2020, followed by the five-track ALL OUT EP.

“FIRESTARTER” marks a new chapter for the project, retaining its original four-character lineup while introducing a different combination of international vocal talent.

A companion EP, also titled FIRESTARTER, is scheduled for October 21.

The single and music video are available now; the full EP has not yet been released.
