Reported against primary sources.
KATSEYE’s Sophia is expected to return to group activities in the first week of January 2027, HYBE x Geffen announced.
The agency said Sophia will not participate in the North American leg of THE WILDWORLD TOUR or any of KATSEYE’s remaining promotional activities in 2026.
Sophia stepped back from activities in August to focus on her health and well-being. She later sat out the European and UK leg of the group’s tour, but at the time no return date had been announced.
The new update establishes the first concrete timeline for her return while confirming that KATSEYE will finish its 2026 schedule without her.
HYBE x Geffen said Sophia has continued prioritizing her health with the company’s support and thanked fans for their patience ahead of her return next year.
