KPOPWORLD Festival USA has postponed its inaugural San Antonio event to 2027, with organizers citing uncertainty around securing U.S. visas for some of its international performers in time for the festival.

The event had been scheduled to take place at the Alamodome from October 28 through 31, with its main concerts planned for October 30 and 31. The wider four-day program was also set to include an international vendor village and a worldwide dance competition featuring teams representing 29 countries.

Organizers announced the postponement following discussions with their immigration, production and event teams. They said that despite pursuing expedited processing and other available options, there remained uncertainty over whether some participating international artists and groups would receive their U.S. visas in time.

Rather than proceed with the possibility of a significantly reduced lineup, organizers said they decided to move the festival to 2027 and allow additional time to deliver the event as planned.

The announced concert lineup included Jay Park, The Rose, SB19, Jessi, ARTMS, CRAVITY, Xdinary Heroes, WONHO, DEAN and Tabber, HEYOON and DAYOUNG.

The festival was positioned as a major new destination K-pop event for Texas, with organizers planning multiple days of concerts, dance competition programming and fan activities at the Alamodome.

Existing ticket holders will be refunded through Ticketmaster to their original payment methods within 14 business days, according to organizers. They are also expected to receive access to an exclusive presale ahead of the general public once tickets for the rescheduled festival go on sale.

New dates for the 2027 edition have not yet been announced.
