PENTAGON has completed its first domestic solo concerts in roughly seven years as part of the group’s 10th-anniversary tour.
Jinho, Hui, Hongseok, Shinwon, Yeo One, Kino and Wooseok performed at Blue Square Mastercard Hall in Seoul on October 9 and 10 for the Korean dates of PENTAGON’s “101010” anniversary tour.
The concerts marked PENTAGON’s first domestic solo shows since its 2019 “PRISM” world tour, bringing the members back to a standalone concert stage in Korea during the group’s 10th anniversary year.
Among the performances was a new milestone for “Basquiat.” The song was originally performed during Mnet’s “Road to Kingdom” while Jinho was serving in the military. At the Seoul concerts, all seven participating members performed the track together in front of fans for the first time.
The shows also ran considerably longer than originally planned. Additional songs and encore performances extended what had been scheduled as an approximately 100-minute concert to around 200 minutes.
PENTAGON reflected on the group’s decade together during the concerts and thanked fans for supporting the anniversary project.
Both Seoul dates had already sold out in September, before the concerts took place. The completed shows add a separate milestone to PENTAGON’s anniversary year through the group’s return to domestic solo concerts and the new seven-member stage.
The “101010” anniversary tour is scheduled to continue in November with stops in Hong Kong, Amsterdam, Paris and Berlin.
