PLAVE Breaks Into Billboard 200 Top 40 for First Time With ‘HYPERDRIVE’

PLAVE has reached a new career milestone in the United States, entering the Billboard 200’s top 40 for the first time with its fifth mini album, HYPERDRIVE.

According to Billboard’s October 27 chart results, HYPERDRIVE debuted at No. 31 on the Billboard 200 for the chart dated October 31, marking the virtual boy group’s highest position on the ranking to date.

The achievement represents a substantial improvement over PLAVE’s previous Billboard 200 entry, Caligo Pt.2, which debuted at No. 145 earlier in 2026. HYPERDRIVE is the group’s second album to enter the chart.

Beyond the Billboard 200, PLAVE recorded several additional career highs.

HYPERDRIVE debuted at No. 1 on both the Top Album Sales and World Albums charts, marking the group’s first time leading either ranking.

PLAVE also returned to the Emerging Artists chart at a new peak of No. 1, while reaching No. 25 on the Artist 100, another personal best.

The album’s international performance extended to Billboard’s global song rankings. Lead single “Star Trace” reached No. 32 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart and No. 84 on the Global 200, with other tracks from the project also appearing across the two rankings.

For PLAVE, the results mark a significant step forward in its international chart performance, placing its latest release considerably higher than its previous U.S. album-chart debut.

The group’s three No. 1 achievements span two album rankings and the Emerging Artists ranking, rather than three separate Billboard album charts.
