TEMPEST to Conclude Group Activities as Members Pursue Individual Paths

YH Entertainment has announced that TEMPEST will conclude group activities, with the members preparing to pursue separate paths after more than four years together.

In an official statement issued on October 20, the agency said the decision followed lengthy and careful discussions with the members. Future activities will focus on their individual careers.

The announcement also confirmed separate developments affecting the group’s six members.

Hyuk’s Enlistment and LEW’s Contract

Hyuk is scheduled to begin his mandatory military service on October 26. YH Entertainment said no separate official event will take place on his enlistment day and asked fans not to visit the site, out of consideration for other enlistees and their families.

Meanwhile, LEW’s exclusive contract with YH Entertainment will end on November 1, 2026. The agency thanked him for his time with the company and expressed support for his future endeavors.

Hanbin, Hyeongseop, Eunchan and Taerae will continue receiving support from YH Entertainment as they pursue individual activities.

TEMPEST’s Future

TEMPEST debuted in March 2022 and has promoted as a six-member group since Hwarang’s departure in 2024.

The October 20 announcement brings their activities as a group to a conclusion, but the members’ individual arrangements differ. LEW’s contract is ending, while four members will continue their careers with agency support.

YH Entertainment thanked fans for their support throughout TEMPEST’s career and apologized for the concern caused by the unexpected news.

No final concert, farewell release or future reunion was announced in the statement.
