X:IN released their first full-length album, Chain Reaction, on October 6, marking a new milestone for the five-member girl group three years after their debut.
The 11-track album is led by “ZZIRIT,” featuring Brazilian singer-songwriter Luísa Sonza. Sonza also appears in the song’s music video, adding a Brazil-Korea crossover to X:IN’s first studio album.
All five members — E.sha, Nizz, Nova, Hannah and Aria — participated in writing lyrics for Chain Reaction. The album also features American artist tiLLie, who appears on “Neurotox:in.”
The project carries a chemistry-inspired concept built around the reactions created by new encounters. Songs including “Octane,” “Brain Chemistry,” “H₂O” and “pH7” extend that idea through the track list.
Chain Reaction is available digitally now, while the physical edition is scheduled for release on October 20.
