YG PLUS has taken over distribution of FNC Entertainment’s new and existing music releases under a strategic partnership announced on October 22.
The arrangement officially took effect on October 1, with YG PLUS now handling both physical albums and digital music from FNC’s artist catalog.
The agreement covers releases by FTISLAND, CNBLUE, N.Flying, P1Harmony, SF9, AMPERS&ONE and AxMxP, extending beyond upcoming releases to include previously issued music.
A Broader Distribution Network for FNC Artists
Through the partnership, FNC Entertainment will use YG PLUS’s established international distribution infrastructure, including direct relationships with major digital streaming platforms across more than 190 countries and its global physical-album supply network.
For YG PLUS, the addition of FNC’s catalog expands its existing music distribution business.
The company ranked first in South Korea’s physical-album distribution market during the first half of 2026, with a 44.5% share among Circle Chart’s top 400 releases. It ranked second in digital music distribution at 25.4%.
The agreement follows an earlier strategic investment relationship between the two companies. While that relationship had already been established, the October announcement confirms that the music distribution arrangement is now operational.
Partnership Could Expand Into Merchandise and Concerts
The companies also intend to explore additional cooperation beyond music releases.
Potential areas include artist merchandise planning, production and sales, alongside domestic and international concert-related business.
Those broader activities remain plans for future collaboration rather than completed projects announced under the agreement.
YG PLUS said it expects the partnership to build on its music distribution capabilities while creating opportunities across merchandise and live entertainment.
Importantly, the arrangement concerns distribution and business cooperation. Neither company announced an acquisition of FNC Entertainment or a transfer of its artists’ management contracts to YG PLUS.
