BLACKPINK member Rosé has been named a new brand ambassador for Johnnie Walker Black Label, joining an international partnership that will involve campaigns across music, culture and design.
The appointment was announced on October 26 by Diageo, the parent company of the Scotch whisky brand.
According to the company, the collaboration will begin in South Korea before expanding into markets including the United Kingdom, China and Indonesia, with additional international activities planned.
The partnership was introduced through an event at BAR 81 in Seoul’s SIGNIEL hotel, where Rosé presented a signature cocktail called “Twist of Something Highball,” developed with Johnnie Walker Black Label.
The company also announced plans to introduce the collaboration at additional venues in Seoul and incorporate Rosé’s creative identity into future brand activities.
In a statement accompanying the announcement, Rosé expressed interest in exploring creative opportunities that connect different fields through the partnership.
The arrangement places the singer alongside other international music artists involved in Johnnie Walker campaigns. The brand previously established a multiyear collaboration with American singer Sabrina Carpenter.
For Rosé, the agreement represents another international commercial partnership alongside her music career as a BLACKPINK member and solo artist.
No new music release, music video or recording collaboration has been announced as part of the agreement.
Although Diageo has outlined plans for activities in several markets, specific dates and details for those future campaigns have not yet been confirmed.
