BTS’s upcoming concerts in São Paulo have become the subject of formal consumer-protection scrutiny following complaints about differences in the stage-screen configuration used for the South American leg of the group’s ARIRANG world tour.

Brazil’s National Consumer Secretariat (Senacon) notified concert promoter Live Nation Brasil and ticketing company Ticketmaster Brasil on October 22, requesting explanations about the audiovisual setup planned for BTS’s October 28, 30 and 31 performances at Estádio MorumBIS.

The inquiry follows concerns from fans who compared the South American production, which uses four LED screens integrated into a central tower, with configurations featuring 12 panels during earlier portions of the tour.

Consumers have questioned whether the differences could affect visibility, particularly from seating areas farther from the stage.

According to information provided by São Paulo’s consumer-protection agency Procon-SP and reported by Brazilian media, 518 complaints relating to the concerts had been recorded since the beginning of 2026, including 460 concerning the show’s structure.

Senacon requested technical details about the screen configuration, visibility assessments, promotional materials used during ticket sales, and any measures available to consumers who reported concerns.

Separately, São Paulo’s Public Prosecutor’s Office requested explanations concerning differences between the seating map presented during ticket sales and a technical layout published through municipal channels. That issue includes questions about areas identified as PIT 1 and PIT 2 in the technical documentation.

On October 26, Live Nation issued a public statement defending the South American production.

The promoter said the São Paulo stage would feature a central structure with four walkways and four LED screens facing different sides of the stadium. It maintained that the configuration matched the official event map available when tickets went on sale in April.

Live Nation attributed differences from productions in other regions to logistical and scheduling constraints, while maintaining that the arrangement was designed to provide a 360-degree viewing experience.

The dispute highlights questions about production consistency and the information provided to concertgoers purchasing tickets for major international tours.

No final determination that consumer-protection laws were violated has been announced. The authorities’ requests for information do not establish wrongdoing, and no mandatory refund order, cancellation, or confirmed redesign of the São Paulo production has been established.

BTS’s three São Paulo performances remain scheduled to proceed on October 28, 30 and 31.
