BTS Takes ‘ARIRANG’ South America Shows to Cinemas Worldwide

BTS is taking two stops from its ARIRANG world tour to cinemas around the world.

The group’s October 24 concert in Buenos Aires and October 30 concert in São Paulo will be broadcast in theaters internationally as part of a new Live Viewing event tied to the South American leg of the tour.

The screenings will bring the stadium concerts to audiences outside Argentina and Brazil, with some territories receiving delayed screenings to accommodate local time zones.

The project is being billed as BTS’s first Live Viewing broadcast originating from South America.

The Buenos Aires and São Paulo shows come near the end of BTS’s Latin America run, which also includes stops in Bogotá, Lima and Santiago. Additional dates were added in Lima, Santiago and Buenos Aires after the original tour announcement.

BTS has already used cinema Live Viewing elsewhere on the ARIRANG tour, including screenings connected to earlier Goyang and Tokyo concerts, so the format itself is not new to this tour.

What changes here is the scale and geography of the rollout: performances from the South American leg are now being positioned as global cinema events rather than experiences limited to the stadiums hosting them.

The Live Viewing program is expected to reach theaters across numerous international markets, extending the tour’s audience well beyond the cities on the Latin America itinerary.
